The new guidelines came under the new section (section 234H) of the Income-tax Act 1961. Due to the rage of the coronavirus pandemic in the country, the central government has extended the deadline to link PAN and Aadhaar card. Earlier, the last day for the same, was 31 March but now it has been extended to 30 June.
