• Share • Pin Mushfiqur Rahim (born 9 May 1987) is a former Bangladeshi cricketer and former captain and vice-captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team. He is widely regarded as Bangladesh’s most successful Test captain. According to former Bangladesh coach Jamie Siddons, Rahim’s batting is so versatile that he can bat anywhere in the top order, from one to six. He is Bangladesh’s leading individual scorer in Test cricket. He is the first and only wicket keeper-batsman in Test cricket history to score two hundreds. Rahim took to his official Twitter account to make the announcement, insisting that he will now be focussing on ODIs and Tests.
