Mister Mummy Review: Riteish And Genelia Are Back With A Hilarious Unique Concept

Mister Mummy Movie Review Still From Trailer Since “Mister Mummy” had a unique concept, fans were aware of it as soon as the first movie poster was unveiled. Some of the movie’s scenes will make viewers laugh aloud. The main source of the film’s entertainment is Riteish’s comic timing. Riteish is this film’s acting star, appearing in most of the sequences. He has also previously appeared in comedy movies. Therefore, he found playing this character to be simple. Even though he successfully entertained the audience, some viewers might have found him unsettling. Still From Trailer Genelia also makes the most of it as she goes on. She always has a charming appearance on the screen and has a great screen presence. However, just one positive element cannot carry a whole movie. Mahesh Manjrekar adds to the film’s entertaining appeal. He portrays his role in a very respectful manner. In general, Mister Mummy is hilarious. Unfortunately, not a lot of people will remember the music. It is yet another limitation of the countless songs T-Series releases weekly. The Mister Mummy movie had a new premise that might have made people laugh a lot. The film, though, could have done a lot better. Mister Mummy Review: An Insane Laughter Riot

Mister Mummy Cast: Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D’Souza, Mahesh Manjrekar and ensemble Mister Mummy Director: Shaad Ali Mister Mummy Story: What happens when a man who hates kids gets pregnant at the same time when his wife is also pregnant? Sounds quite unusual and strange, isn’t it? Well, that’s the crux of this off-beat comedy. Mister Mummy Review Mister Mummy Review Even though the plot is a daring one, the movie does not get wayward with its storytelling and sticks to what it can do best. Riteish is gold when it comes to comedy and this is just another movie where he has nailed his role. There is nothing to complain about him. Genelia is as always likeable and fun to watch. There is something about her that makes people wanna like her and it works wonderfully in favour of her. Mahesh Manjrekar as the doctor is fascinating and interesting to watch. The man just knows how to handle himself in all sorts of roles. He again delivers with his versatility. He is perhaps one of the most underrated Indian actors with an insane reach. Shaad Ali has done well to keep the film crisp and interesting. Avoiding unnecessary sub-plots and sticking to the humour generated from the main crux of the story has kept the film fresh and authentic. He has done exceedingly fine by not being drawn into the temptation of including everything and anything just for the sake of the comedy. All in all Mister Mummy is a fun ride that you should consider watching this weekend.

Mister Mummy Movie Review: Riteish Deshmukh & Genelia D’Souza’s film fails to entertain

Mister Mummy Story: Amol (Riteish Deshmukh) and Guglu (Genelia Deshmukh), a lovey-dovey couple, have opposing views on having babies. But things take an unexpected turn when both of them become pregnant at the same time. Mister Mummy Review: Mister Mummy is about a man who despises children because of his own past experiences, and his wife, who is desperately trying to conceive. But what happens if both get pregnant at the same time? It's unusual, right? Actually, the subject of this offbeat comedy is a condition known as ‘Couvade Syndrome aka sympathetic pregnancy,’ which causes a man to experience many of the same symptoms as an expectant mother, such as changes in appetite, nausea, insomnia, and weight gain. However, this 98-minute film is nothing more than a confusing drama that fails to entertain or educate its audience. Director Shaad Ali who has co-written the film with Ananya Sharma, tries to, but struggles at, adding value and depth to the story. There's a substantial amount of ammo to work with—unplanned parenthood, distressed marriage, and a pregnant man, to name a few. But nothing is fleshed out in a compelling way. The majority of the scenes are also repetitive, making it a lengthy watch. Most of the humour is forced, and aside from Amol's conversations with himself, nothing makes you laugh. Conceptually, it is definitely interesting, but the way it's presented leaves a lot to be desired. Genelia D'Souza's character is likeable whenever she appears on screen, ...
