ANANTNAG : Director, Rural Development (RDD) Kashmir, Tariq Ahmad Zargar Saturday visited Anantnag to review the progress of various flagship Rural Development schemes under implementation in the district. Assistant Commissioner Development Anantnag, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Anantnag, SE (REW), Executive Engineer (REW) Anantnag, BDOs, AEEs and other officers attended the review meeting. The status of various rural flagship schemes including MGNREGA, PMAY-G and 14th FCA besides progress of works taken up under the Capex Budget (CD & Pyt Sector) District Capex (DDC, BDC & PRI Grants) and construction of DDC/ BDC Offices, RGSA was reviewed in detail. ACDAnantnaginformed that Anantnaghas achieved 98% target in respect of persondays generated under MGNREGA. Against a target of 34.79 Lakh persondays set for ending March 2022, 34.02 Lakh person days have already been generated till date. Moreover, MGNREGA Wages are being released in time among the MGNREGA Job Card Holders and till date Rs74.80 Crore have been paid under labour component besides 100% geo-tagging of assets and 99.61% Aadhaar Seeding of Job Card Holders is complete. Similarly, out of the 8077 works taken up under MGNREGA, 3452 works have been completed while remaining are at final stages of execution. BDOs were instructed to complete the remaining works both physically as well as financially by or before March, 31, 2022. Progress of MGNREGA, PMAY reviewed at Anantnag Dec 24, 2020 ANANTNAG: The Director Rural Development Department, Kashmir Qazi Sarwar today reviewed the implementation of centrally sponsored schemes and status of RDD works at a meeting held at Dak- Bungalow Khanabal. The meeting was attended by Dy. Director RDD, ACD, DPO, Dy. Director Planning, all BDOs, Xen REW Anantnag, AEEs & JEEs of the department. The ACD Anantnag Mr. Nisar Ahmad Malik through a powerpoint presentation informed the meeting about the progress and achievements made in the district under MGNREGA, PMAY for 2020 - 2021 & execution of works taken up in the district under MGNREGA. While informing about the achievements made under MGNREGA, the ACD told the meeting that under MGNREGA, 2846 works stand physically completed while 495 works have been completed financially also. Out of the 5917 works including 3316 of current year and 2601 as spell over works and 25 lac main days have been generated with a financial implication of Rs. 136.95 crore. Regarding PMAY (G) the ACD informed the meeting that against a target of 2315, 2045 houses were completed physically and financially, 2204 houses were completed (up to 2nd instalment level). While as 3rd instalment has been completed to 2057 beneficiaries. An amount of Rs.1157.50 lacs has been disbursed among the PMAY beneficiaries.
