England v India: How to watch the 2022 Test, ODI and T20 series on TV, schedule, times

Four days after beating New Zealand by seven wickets to complete a 3-0 Test series sweep, England will be at Edgbaston for the rescheduled fifth and final match of their Test against India. New Test head coach Brendon McCullum will be buoyed by his side's performance — lit up by Jonny Bairstow's batting — against his homeland as England look to peg India back to 2-2 in the series. India beat England by 157 runs at The Oval in the fourth Test last September, since when Ben Stokes has replaced Joe Root as England captain and Romit Sharma has succeeded Virat Kohli to lead the visitors, although a positive COVID-19 test could yet hinder the away skipper's participation in Birmingham. Can McCullum and Stokes continue their promising starts? The Sporting Newsexplains how you can follow the cricket live in a packed July schedule. Why are England playing India now? A fiasco familiar to many sporting events since the start of the pandemic developed on the eve of the scheduled Test in Manchester in September 2021. Amid a rise in COVID-19 cases among India's group, the visitors were unable to field a team at Old Trafford, leaving many fans frustrated at short notice. The financial implications were dire, with 90,000 supporters requiring refunds and a shortfall of £40 million ($49 million) widely reported. The England and Wales Cricket Board's then chief executive Tom Harrison dismissed talk that players were predominantly concerned with being ready for the resumption of the Indian Pr...
