WARNING: RISK OF SERIOUS CARDIOVASCULAR AND GASTROINTESTINAL EVENTS CARDIOVASCULAR THROMBOTIC EVENTS Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) cause an increased risk of serious cardiovascular thrombotic events, including myocardial infarction and stroke, which can be fatal. Diclofenac is a medicine used to treat pain, swelling, and tenderness that’s caused by many conditions, including arthritis, menstrual pain, migraines, and other ailments. This medicine comes in several formulations and brands, which are used for specific purposes and may contain different amounts of the drug.
