Having seen the trailer of the upcoming medical campus comedy-drama ‘Doctor G’ the audience have loved Ayushmann Khurrana’s character Doctor Uday Gupta struggle in the gynaecology department surrounded by only women. The makers of the film shared a video giving a sneak-peak into the world of 'Doctor G' and Ayushmann Khurrana’s prep for becoming a doctor for the first time on the screen. Having essayed various kinds of unique roles on the screen, Ayushmann will be seen bringing yet another character unconventional character as a male gynaecologist. Junglee Pictures has shared the behind-the-scenes video of the actor that captures his journey of prepping for playing Dr. Uday in the film. Ever since the first look and the trailer of Junglee Pictures’ Doctor G were unveiled, there has been immense excitement and curiosity about the film and the subject. Ayushmann Khurrana has always managed to win the audience over with his stellar performances and choice of unconventional roles that leave a solid impact. He once again steps into an unexplored territory in Hindi cinema with this medical campus comedy. In the film directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, the actor will be seen playing Dr Uday Gupta, who reluctantly accepts a seat in the gynaecology department of a medical college in Bhopal while his real interest lies elsewhere. Here, he is surrounded by a strong all-women team of doctors, who have a significant role to play in his journey — on campus and off it. The story, which largely plays out within the hospital wards, has ample humour, witty punches and a narrative that’s handled with intelligence and sensitivity. Doctor G releases in theatres today. On the occasion of National Doctors’ Day on Friday, the makers of Doctor G shared another look of actor Ayushmann Khurrana from the film, while also explaining what ‘G’ stands for in the movie’s title. Sharing the new still, production house Junglee Pictures revealed that Khurrana plays gynaecologist Uday Gupta in the film touted to be a campus comedy drama. “G se Gynecologist. G se Gupta.
