As a Data Science Trainee at AlmaBetter, I am proficient in a variety of data science tools including Python, SQL, Tableau, and Excel. With expertise in supervised and unsupervised machine learning, I have developed predictive models for various use cases such as customer segmentation, demand prediction, and price range prediction. I have also published articles on the applications of machine learning in healthcare, logistics, and tourism. Prior to my training, I worked as a Team Leader and Production Analyst at Mahindra and Mahindra Tractor factory, where I collected and analyzed data on production processes and developed standard operating procedures. With a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, I have achieved a Gold Badge in SQL and Python on HackerRank. I am passionate about exploring new technologies and using data to drive insights and improve business performance. Activity As a Team Leader and Production Analyst at Mahindra and Mahindra Tractor factory, I gained experience in data analysis and process improvement. I collected and analyzed data on production processes, developed SOPs, and created reports and dashboards to track performance and identify areas for improvement. My work contributed to the company's success and helped me develop skills in data analysis and process optimization. In this blog, instead of getting into mathematics, we are going to cover the top 5 real-time use cases in the industry with respect to ANOVA. Don’t hesitate to refer to these examples when someone asks you for a real-time example of ANOVA. What is an ANOVA? ANOVA stands for Analysis of Variance. It is a statistical technique used to test whether there are significant differences between the means of two or more groups. The two most common types of ANOVAs are the one-way ANOVA and two-way ANOVA. A one-way ANOVA is used to determine how one factor impacts a response variable. For example, we might want to know if three different groups of students have different mean GPAs. To see if there is a statistically significant difference in mean GPAs, we can conduct a one-way ANOVA. A two-way ANOVA is used to determine how two factors affect a response variable and whether or not the two factors interact with the response variable. For example, we might want to know how different types of food and how different levels of metabolism impact average weight loss. We would conduct a two-way ANOVA to find out. There are different ANOVA tests like three-way ANOVA & four-way ANOVA which are not well known and are uncommon but we will not talk about them in much detail in this blog. Now, we will share four different examples of real-life applications of ANOVA with examples. Real-time Use Case #1 An ANOVA test would most likely be used in a manufacturing plant to determine the best materials ...
